Sadowsky 'Jimmy Bruno' Archtop Jazz Guitar - Pre-Loved

This 2010 Sadowsky Jimmy Bruno model is a gorgeous, small archtop jazz box and a fine example of expert luthiery. Lightweight and easy to hold and play, the Bruno model is designed to do one thing and do it really well. It would be hard to imagine a better guitar for a clean, modern jazz gig—and this one sounds as good as it looks.  

Those good looks begin with a highly flamed maple top along with flamed maple back and sides, finished in a Sienna burst laquer. “Pretty” barely begins to describe it. The top features contemporary “s-style” f-holes, and both the top and back feature 5-ply binding.  

The neck is one-piece mahogany with a bound ebony fretboard and small cat-eye pearl inlays. The profile is a comfortable, slim “C” with a 24 7/8” scale. The bone nut is a standard 1 11/16”, easy for chording and flat-pick styles.  

The top features 5-ply maple laminate, designed to suppress feedback—since this guitar is definitely meant to be plugged in. The single pickup is a top-mounted Dimarzio/Sadowsky humbucker in the neck position. Sweet tone, warm and mellow. A single volume and tone knob are easy to access below the bridge.

Other features include an ebony pickguard, adjustable bridge, tailpiece and truss road cover. All metal parts are gold plated. Tuners are gold Gotoh with ebony knobs. The label is signed by Roger Sadowsky. 

The guitar is in excellent condition, with very little evidence of use. Whoever owned this guitar before took care of it and loved it.
