This is an original 1973/74 Thinline tele. There is a lot of wear on the body, but most is cosmetic. This guitar plays wonderfully for a 50-year-old machine and is a rare chance for someone to pick one up with all the relicing already done! - Body is Alder with a chambered two-piece back.
- Pickups are original Seth Lover-designed Wide Range (same person who designed Gibson's legendary PAF)
- Neck is U-shaped, Maple, with bullet-style truss rod nut and black dot markers.
- hardware is original
- Comes in a tweed hardshell case
- Tone pot is original with correct CTS number stamping.
- Volume pot is non original - Made in Japan
- Switch seems to be original. Looks like it's been cleaned a few times over its life, though there is some green tinging on parts of it.
- The neck butt stamp is badly worn and almost impossible to read, but the last two numbers are 72.
