Ovation Celebrity Elite Plus models are special in every way.

The literal  plus  are the tops, which   are made from visually appealing woods such as Spalted/Flamed/Quilted Maple or Koa.

In addition, they are equipped with the Ovation-typical  multi-soundholes  . This innovative design uses several small openings on the edge of the guitar's top instead of a single, central sound hole.

This has two positive effects: firstly, the available  vibration area  in the middle of the ceiling is increased, and secondly, the  sound is emitted  much closer to the ear of the person playing.

Multi soundholes  in combination with the special ceiling woods are a visually enriching change and a guaranteed  eye-catcher  on stage.

The acoustic sound alone is convincing, as the instruments in this line mainly have solid spruce or cedar tops, which are stabilized on the underside with a scalloped quartersawn X-bracing - a cross-arranged wooden construction - for optimal sound development.

All guitars in the Ovation Celebrity series feature a Nato neck and are available in Mid-Depth or Super Shallow Lyrachord® Body versions, depending on the model.

The electro-acoustic signal processing starts with an Ovation Slimline pickup on the bridge of the guitar, which - as the name suggests - stands out due to its slim design. The toothed bridge insert increases the pressure point on the piezo crystals, which promotes a particularly uniform sound. Before the signal leaves the guitar, it is refined by an Ovation OP4BT preamp with 3-band EQ and built-in tuner.

The instruments in the Celebrity series are divided into the Traditional and Elite lines , which differ in the type of sound holes used ( center soundhole or multi soundholes ). The additional Plus designates guitars whose tops have been enhanced with special woods.

To round off the sound quality, all Celebrity guitars, depending on the model, are equipped with high-quality strings from Adamas or Hannabach .
